Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Darius Williams, 6-3 Sr. Justin Kelley, 6-5 Jr. Dontell Brown, 6-0 Sr. Jordan Lewis, and 6-2 Jr. Taveion Hollingsworth.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-4 So. Austin Hall, 6-5 Fr. Kyle Rode, 6-6 Jr. Tre King, 6-1 Fr. Isaiah Hunt, and 6-2 Sr. Trevor Hill.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 64-49.  PLD shot 49% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 26 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 25 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 42.9% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 PLD turnovers.

Taveion Hollingsworth led PLD with 18 points.  Darius Williams added 16 points.  Jordan Lewis recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Tre King led LCA with 13 points and eight rebounds.  Kyle Rode added 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  Trevor Hill chipped in with 11 points.  Austin Hall recorded five points, nine rebounds, and six assists.
