Eastern Kentucky University coach Dan McHale started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Ja’Mill Powell, 6-7 Sr. Jarelle Reischel, 6-9 Fr. Nick Mayo, 6-2 Jr. Isaac McGlone, and 6-5 Jr. Javontae Hawkins.  UNCW coach Kevin Keatts countered with 6-9 Gr. Dylan Sherwood, 6-5 Jr. Chris Flemmings, 6-9 Jr. Chuck Ogbodo, 6-1 Sr. Craig Ponder, and 6-5 Fr. CJ Bryce.

UNCW defeated Eastern Kentucky tonight by a score of 78-59.  UNCW shot 44.6% from the field including seven of 25 from the three point line.  They connected on 13 of 22 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 33.3% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 22 of 35 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and committed 19 turnovers.

Craig Ponder led UNCW with 24 points, four assists, and three steals.  Dylan Sherwood added 16 points and nine rebounds.  6-0 Jr. Denzel Ingram recorded 15 points and four assists.  Chuck Ogbodo chipped in with seven points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Jarelle Reischel led Eastern Kentucky with 17 points including 10 of 14 free throws and pulled down 13 rebounds.  Javontae Hawkins added 16 points and five rebounds.  Nick Mayo recorded 12 points and five rebounds.
