Scott County took an early 7-0 lead but Elder scored 35 straight points on their way to a 35-17 victory.  Elder recorded 20 first downs and 361 yards of total offense.  They were penalized five times for 46 yards and lost a fumble.  Scott County recorded 15 first downs and 335 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized four times for 52 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Ja’Vahri Portis led Elder’s ground game with 98 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries.  Peyton Ramsey carried the ball eight times for 66 yards.  Peyton Ramsey completed 12 of 15 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns.  Robby Oswald caught six passes for 119 yards.  Nick Hall caught three passes for 47 yards and two touchdowns.  Ben Allison led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 43 yards.  Ryan Furniss added five solo and two assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards.  Joe Schroer recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards.

Keith Guy led Scott County’s ground attack with 119 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  Noah Hughes carried the ball 17 times for 114 yards.  K. Hamilton added 90 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Josh Davis completed five of 11 passes for 22 yards with one interception.  G. Covington caught two passes for 13 yards.  Dylan Smith led the defense with six solo and one assisted tackles.  K. Hamilton added four solo and three assisted tackles.  Eric Abney recorded five solo tackles.
