Franklin County coach Joey Thacker started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Rebecca Cook, 5-7 Jr. Lauren Willard, 5-9 Jr. Malaka Frank, 5-5 Jr. Anna Arrastia, and 5-6 So. Princess Stewart.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-10 Fr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Fr. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Jr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Sr. Ashley Johnson, and 5-7 Jr. Meghan Colley.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Franklin County by a score of 44-41.  There were five lead changes and two ties in this game.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 28.9% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored seven points off 19 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 30.6% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Flyers connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel added 12 points including two three point baskets and three steals.  Ashley Johnson chipped in with nine points.  Lydia Taylor and Kia Sivils pulled down eight and seven rebounds respectively.

5-8 Sr. Dasia Kilbourne led Franklin County with 17 points and five rebounds.  Princess Stewart added nine points and eight rebounds.  Rebecca Cook recorded six points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Malaka Frank chipped in with six points and nine rebounds.
