Barret vs. Wayne County

Barret defeated Wayne County 20-14 in overtime. Barret recorded nine first downs and 210 yards of total offense. They were penalized six times for 30 yards. Wayne County recorded 12 first downs and 210 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized three times for 20 yards and lost a fumble.
Dennis Garrett led Barret’s ground attack with 113 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Dennis Garrett completed seven of 11 passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Seth Cianfoni caught three passes for 22 yards and a touchdown. Trey Allgeier added two receptions for 51 yards. S. Patillo caught two passes for 18 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Head led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles. Dennis Garrett added three solo and three assisted tackles. DJ Bross recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.
Aubrey Weaver led Wayne County’s ground game with 155 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries. D’Angelo Dixson carried the ball eight times for 16 yards and a touchdown. Aubrey Weaver completed three of 13 passes for 32 yards. Alex Phillips caught two passes for 24 yards. Aubrey Weaver led the defense with two solo and six assisted tackles. Jacob Hammond added two solo and four assisted tackles.
