Woodford County coach Scott Hundley started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Sawyer Scandore, 6-0 Sr. Samuel Souers, 6-3 Jr. Colton McCrady, 5-10 Sr. Grayson Graf, and 5-11 Sr. Eli Boggess. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 Sr. Jordan Green, 6-3 Jr. Jeremiah Tisdale, 6-3 Jr. Colby Barnes, 5-9 Sr. Campbell Setzer, and 5-10 Jr. Felix Wilson.
Henry Clay pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Woodford County by a score of 71-45. Henry Clay shot 54.3% from the field including three of eight from the three point line. The Blue devils connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 14 Woodford County turnovers. Woodford County shot 31.3% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Yellow Jackets connected on 11 of 21 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored one point off eight Henry Clay turnovers.
Jordan Green led Henry Clay with 22 points including two three point baskets, 16 rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and four steals. Jeremiah Tisdale added 14 points and five rebounds. Colby Barnes chipped in with 13 points.
Eli Boggess led Woodford County with 15 points including two three point baskets. Grayson Graf and Samuel Souers added eight and seven points respectively.
