Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Kathryn Gross, 5-8 So. Erin Muthler, 6-0 Jr. Malerie Martin, 5-3 So. Jess Laemmle, and 5-6 Jr. Hannah Bewley.  LaRue County coach Travis Wootton countered with 6-1 Sr. Ivy Brown, 5-11 Jr. Alyson Yingling, 6-1 Sr. Alley Evans, 5-6 So. Delany Eastridge, and 5-10 Jr. Alexis Brewer.

LaRue County’s “dynamic duo” Ivy Brown and Alexis Brewer combined for 50 points and 31 rebounds in a 65-53 victory over Mercy Academy.  LaRue County shot 44% from the field including one of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Hawks connected on 20 of 35 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored four points off nine mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 21.7% from the field including nine of 34 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored three points off 12 LaRue County turnovers.

Ivy Brown led LaRue County with 29 points, 21 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Alexis Brewer added 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Hannah Bewley led Mercy Academy with 21 points including three three point baskets and 10 of 12 free throws.  Bewley pulled down seven rebounds and recorded three steals.  Malerie Martin added seven rebounds.  Jess Laemmle recorded six points and seven rebounds.
