Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 Jr. Dee Givens, 6-4 Jr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-7 Sr. Megumi Nagahiro, and 5-8 Sr. Ken’yale Demus.  Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-9 Sr. Lakeysha Stennis, 5-9 So. Destiny Cozart, 5-9 So. Jamayah Fields, 5-6 So. Brittany White, and 5-8 So. Markiara Smith.

Lafayette defeated Bryan Station by a score of 48-32.  Lafayette shot 36.4% from the field including one of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 22 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 32.5% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on two of six free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 13 Lafayette turnovers.

5-11 Fr. Kiara Pankins led Lafayette with 12 points.  Ashanti Thomas added 10 points and nine rebounds.  Dee Givens recorded 10 points and eight rebounds.  Ken’yale Demus chipped in with nine points.

Lakeysha Stennis led Bryan Station with 18 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  Destiny Cozart added six points and Jamayah Fields pulled down 10 rebounds.
