Oldham County coach Coy Zerhusen started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Austin Perkins, 6-1 Jr. Conner Hicks, 6-4 Sr. Austin Wills, 5-10 Sr. Jordan Gates, and 5-11 Jr. Hayden Hawes.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Sr. Tony Martini, 6-0 Sr. Matt Murray, 7-1 So. Raekwon Long, 6-1 Sr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 Sr. Trent Gilbert.

 

Scott County raced out to a 34-15 halftime lead on their way to a 72-52 victory over Oldham County.  Scott County’s starters only played between 17:01-17:41 minutes tonight.  Scott County shot 54.5% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 22 Oldham County turnovers.  Oldham County shot 32.1% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 Scott County turnovers.

Teddy Ware led Scott County with 16 points including three three point baskets.  Trent Gilbert added 11 points.  6-1 So. Tay Guyn chipped in with 10 points.  Raekwon Long and Tony Martini pulled down 10 and eight rebounds respectively.

Jordan Gates led Oldham County with 11 points.  Conner Hicks and 6-4 So. Jacob Bates added nine points each.
