Ryle coach Karra Jackson started the following lineup: 6-1 So. Carly Lange, 5-9 So. Mallory Schwartz, 6-2 So. Aimee Jump, 5-6 Sr. MacKenzie Senvisky, and 5-8 So. Madison Jones.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 6-0 Sr. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 Jr. Dee Givens, 6-4 Jr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-7 Sr. Megumi Nagahiro, and 5-8 Sr. Ken’yale Demus.

Lafayette defeated Ryle by a score of 62-39.  Lafayette shot 44.2% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 20 Ryle turnovers.  Ryle shot 37.8% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on three of eight free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers.

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 28 points including three three point baskets and recorded four steals.  5-11 Fr. Kiara Pankins added 10 points.  Ashanti Thomas chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds.  Sarah Cooley recorded five points, 11 rebounds, and four steals.

Carly Lange led Ryle with nine points and seven rebounds.  Mallory Schwartz added seven points and four steals.
