Knott County Central coach B.B. King started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Simon Christon, 6-3 So. Chance Cornett, 6-7 So. Evan Hall, 5-10 Sr. Corey Short, and 6-2 So. Camron Justice.  Ballard coach Chris Renner countered with 6-3 Fr. Malik Dow, 6-0 Sr. Lavonne Holland, 6-6 Jr. Kelan Martin, 5-9 Sr. Dontez Byrd, and 6-1 Jr. Quinten Snider.

Ballard raced out to a 24-14 first quarter lead on their way to a 68-53 victory over Knott County Central.  Ballard shot 42.4% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Knott County Central turnovers.  Knott County Central shot 38% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Ballard turnovers.

Quinten Snider led a balanced Ballard attack with 20 points including three three point baskets.  Malik Dow added 14 points and eight rebounds.  Lavonne Holland also scored 14 points.  Kelan Martin recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Camron Justice led Knott County Central with 24 points.  Chance Cornett added 13 points and seven rebounds.
