Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Jalen Haddix, 6-1 Sr. Deonte Doss, 6-3 Jr. Dylan Portwood, 6-0 Sr. Quin Richardson, and 6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 So. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 So. Reese Ryan, 6-9 Sr. Jack Whitman, 5-11 Sr. Dillon Avare, and 6-2 So. Jarod Griffin.

Scott County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 64-53.  Scott County shot 48.1% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 37.3% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on nine of 21 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

Jalen Haddix led Scott County with 18 points and six rebounds.  Haddix was nine of 14 from the field.  Trent Gilbert added 15 points including two three point baskets.  Quin Richardson recorded 14 points and seven assists.  Dylan Portwood pulled down nine rebounds.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 15 points including three three point baskets and nine rebounds.  Jack Whitman added 14 points and nine rebounds.  Reese Ryan chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds.  Dillon Avare chipped in with 10 points including three three point baskets.  5-10 So. Michael Talbott dished out seven assists.
