St. Joseph Central coach Shannon Lewis started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Mychal Johnson, 5-9 Jr. Rachel Lee, 5-10 Jr. Asia Petitte, 5-6 Fr. Mychelle Johnson, and 5-8 Jr. Griffin Dempsey. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm, 6-0 Jr. Iman Guy, 5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins, and 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi.
St. Joseph Central connected on 14 three point baskets in a 68-46 victory over Scott County. St. Joseph Central shot 37.1% from the field including 14 of 27 from the three point line. The Irish connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 21 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 35.4% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine St. Joseph Central turnovers.
Rachel Lee led St. Joseph Central with 21 points including seven three point baskets and eight rebounds. Mychal Johnson added 17 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Griffin Dempsey chipped in with 13 points including three three point baskets. Asia Petitte recorded nine points and seven rebounds.
Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 20 points and 10 rebounds. 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor added 10 points including three three point baskets.5-6 Sr. Tamara Ray chipped in with seven points and six rebounds. Iman Guy pulled down seven rebounds.
