Monticello coach Stewart Gregory started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Daniel Bertram, 5-9 Jr. Aaron Sexton, 6-2 Sr. Gabe Denney, 5-8 Sr. Elijah Catron, and 5-9 So. Trajan Smith.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-3 Jr. Henry Wolf, 6-0 Sr. Duncan Courtney, 6-6 Sr. Ray Brewer, 5-9 Sr. Ben Davis, and 6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders.

Sayre defeated Monticello by a score of 82-54 on senior night.  Sayre shot 51.7% from the field including seven of 13 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 36 points off 28 Monticello turnovers.  Monticello shot 50% from the field including six of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Trojans connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 15 Sayre turnovers.

Ray Brewer has missed most of the season recovering from surgery but came up big tonight with 35 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  Ben Davis added 12 points on four three point baskets.  6-3 So. Quinn Pergande also scored 12 points.  Justin Sanders chipped in with 10 points and five assists.

6-2 Jr. Travis Edwards led Monticello with 13 points and nine rebounds.  Aaron Sexton added 11 points.  Trajan Smith chipped in with 10 points.
