Bryan Station coach Mike Allen started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Jr. Daquice Allen, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-4 Sr. Gerrard Newby, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.

Tyler Smith scored on a driving layup with less than five seconds remaining on the clock to give Bryan Station a 56-54 victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay had one last opportunity but a hurried three point attempt at the buzzer was off the mark.  There were six ties and five lead changes in this hotly contested game.  Bryan station got off to a fast start leading 25-15 in the second quarter before Henry Clay mounted a rally and the score was tied 46-46 after three quarters.

Bryan Station shot 37% from the field including six of 16 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 16 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 42.3% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Bryan Station turnovers.

Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 22 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  Jordan Henry added 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists.  Tyler Smith recorded eight points and six rebounds.

Christen Cunningham led Henry Clay with 16 points.  Jordan Green added 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.  Teddy Ware chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.  Trey Grundy recorded six points and eight rebounds.
