Elizabethtown coach James Haire started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Jansen Flood, 5-11 Sr. Todd Lucas, 6-5 Fr. Zane Najdawi, 5-10 So. Nic McDonald, and 5-10 So. Bryce Byrd.  Bullitt East Troy Barr countered with 6-3 Jr. Rusty Troutman, 5-11 Jr. Chad Embry, 6-9 Jr. Derek Willis, 5-9 Jr. Trey Rakes, and 6-2 Sr. Kory Caufield.

Bullitt East defeated Elizabethtown by a score of 73-52.  Bullitt East shot 48.3% from the field including seven of 24 from the three point line.  The Chargers connected on eight of 18 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 26 Elizabethtown turnovers.  Elizabethtown shot 40% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Bullitt East turnovers.

Derek Willis led Bullitt East with 22 points, 14 rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals.  Rusty Troutman added 19 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, and five steals.  Trey Rakes recorded 10 points, four rebounds, six assists, and six steals.

Jansen Flood led Elizabethtown with nine points including two three point baskets.  Bryce Byrd added eight points.  Zane Najdawi recorded seven points and 14 rebounds.  6-0 So. Ja’Von Cotton also scored seven points.
