Christian Academy of Louisville coach Casey Smallwood started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Chase Darst, 5-11 Sr. Jonathan Finch, 6-4 Sr. Tyler Stocking, 5-8 Sr. Ivan Talley, and 5-11 Jr. Sawyer Hobbs.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-2 Sr. Philip O’Rourke, 6-1 Sr. Reid Freeman, 6-6 Jr. Ray Brewer, 6-0 So. Justin Sanders, and 6-0 Jr. Duncan Courtney.

Sayre defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 74-64.  Sayre shot 50% from the field including seven of 11 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 23 of 28 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 41.4% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Centurions connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Sayre turnovers.

Reid Freeman led Sayre with 28 points including four three point baskets and five rebounds.  Ray Brewer added 22 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Brewer was eight of 11 from the field and six of six from the free throw line.  Justin Sanders chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Chase Darst led CAL with 14 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Jonathan Finch and Tyler Stocking added 11 and 10 points respectively.  Sawyer Hobbs and 5-10 Jr. Parker Hobbs chipped in with nine and eight points respectively.
