Henry Clay  vs.  Bryan Station

Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 6-0 So. Christen Cunningham.  Bryan Station coach Mike Allen countered with 6-2 Sr. Marcus Williams, Omari Sweat, 6-0 Fr. C.J. Walker, 5-10 Jr.Tyler Smith, and 6-1 Sr. Jaylen Beckham.

Henry Clay hit their free throws down the stretch to defeat Bryan Station 69-63 in a hotly contested game.  Henry Clay shot 50% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 42% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected o 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.

Trey Grundy, Jordan Green, and Christen Cunningham each recorded 19 points for Henry Clay.  Grundy was eight of eight from the field and three of three from the free throw line.  Cunningham was 11 of 14 from the free throw line.

Jaylen Beckham led Bryan Station with 23 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four assists.  6-3 Jr. Larry Morton and Marcus Williams each recorded 12 points.
