Mason County  vs.  Henry Clay

Mason County coach Chris O’Hearn started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Cody Hamm, 5-9 Sr. Connor Osborne, 6-6 So. Shawn Johnson, 5-7 Sr. Zaire Henry, and 6-3 Jr. Steven Chambers.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 So. Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 5-11 So. Christen Cunningham.

Henry Clay defeated Mason County by a score of 59-38.  Henry Clay shot 47.9% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 29.5% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Royals connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.

Wes Kimball led a balanced Henry Clay scoring attack with nine points.  Trey Grundy added eight points and six rebounds.  Jordan Green and 5-10 So. Teddy Ware also scored eight points each.  Darien Tichenor pulled down 11 rebounds.

Shawn Johnson led Mason County with 12 points and eight rebounds.  Zaire Henry and 5-8 Jr. Marcel Jackson added six points each.
