Paul L. Dunbar coach Justin Yeary started the following lineup: 6-2 Jr. Jamal Adu Peasah, 6-1 Jr. William Gary, 6-6 Jr. Taylor King, 5-10 So. Donnie Lewis, and 5-10 Jr. Mike Smith.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 So. Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 5-11 So. Christen Cunningham.

Henry Clay defeated Paul L. Dunbar by a score of 63-53.  Henry Clay led 40-21 in the third quarter but Dunbar staged a rally to make the game interesting.  Henry Clay shot 44.2% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The blue Devils connected on 12 of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 34% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  Dunbar only shot 19.2% from the field in the first half.  The Bulldogs connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jordan Green led Henry Clay with 17 points and six rebounds.  Christen Cunningham added 13 points including eight of eight from the free throw line.  Trey Grundy recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.

Mike Smith led Dunbar with 29 points.  William Gary added 10 points.  Taylor King pulled down 13 rebounds.
