Sayre coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Phillip O’Rourke, 6-1 Sr. Reid Freeman, 6-6 Jr. Ray Brewer, 6-0  Jr. Duncan Courtney, and 6-0 So. Justin Sanders.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 So. Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-5 Jr. Darien Tichenor, 6-0 Sr. Alex Blackburn, and 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball.

Henry Clay defeated Sayre by a score of 58-52 tonight.  Henry Clay shot 43.1% from the field including three of 15 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 18 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 37% from the field including 10 of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off five Henry Clay turnovers.

Jordan Green led Henry Clay with 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Alex Blackburn added 11 points and seven rebounds. 

Ray Brewer led Sayre with 15 points and 10 rebounds.  Justin Sanders added 14 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Reid Freeman recorded 13 points including three three point baskets and pulled down seven rebounds.
