St. Xavier coach Kevin Klein started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Chris Mitchell, 6-3 Jr. Alex Jones, 6-8 Jr. Brock Kiesler, 5-10 So. Robert Shaw, and 5-10 Jr. Will Glasford.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 So. Trey Grundy, 6-4 So. Jordan Green, 6-0 Sr. Alex Blackburn, 5-8 Sr. Wes Kimball, and 6-0 So. Christen Cunningham.

St. Xavier defeated Henry Clay by a score of 71-64.  St. Xavier shot 50% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on 20 0f 31 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 43.6% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 St. Xavier turnovers.

Robert Shaw led St. Xavier with 17 points including two three point baskets.  Chris Mitchell added 16 points and nine rebounds.  Brock Kiesler chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Nathan Smith also reached double figures with 11 points.

Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 28 points and 12 rebounds.  Jordan Green also recorded a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
