Bryan Station coach Michael Allen started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Marcus Williams, 6-1 Sr. Tyus Alcorn, 6-2 Jr. Kenyon Hipps, 5-9 So. Jordan Henry, and 5-10 Jr. Tyler Smith.  Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden countered with 6-4 Jr. Braxton McFarland, 6-2 Sr. Darius Gibson, 6-4 Fr. Jordan Fucci, 6-0 Sr. Dai Quan Epps, and 6-0 Jr. Vincent Mattox.

Tates Creek utilized a balanced attack and a hot hand from the field (63.6%) to defeat Bryan Station by a score of 60-48.  Tates Creek shot 63.6% from the field including three of six from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 15 of 32 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 34% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Defenders connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Tates Creek turnovers.

Braxton McFarland led Tates Creek with 15 points.  Jordan Fucci added 14 points and eight rebounds.  Darius Gibson chipped in with 11 points and four assists.  Vincent Mattox also reached double figures with 10 points.

6-3 Jr. Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 18 points and five rebounds.  Tyler Smith added 12 points.
