Lexington Catholic raced out to a 31-0 halftime lead on their way to a 48-7 victory over Mercer County.  Lexington Catholic improves their record to 5-1 while Mercer County falls to 1-4 for the season.  Lexington Catholic recorded 19 first downs and 395 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 10 times for 71 yards.  Mercer County recorded 10 first downs and 150 yards of total offense.  The Titans were penalized eight times for 109 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Marcelis Logan led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 84 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  Amoh Kumengisa carried the ball eight times for 83 yards and a touchdown.  Kyle Bolin completed 12 of 19 passes for 145 yards and four touchdowns.  Reese Ryan completed seven of seven passes for 47 yards.  David Bouvier caught four passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns.  Amoh Kumengisa added three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown.  Alex Nash led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles.  Anthony Kersey added four solo and two assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.  Casey LeBrun recorded four solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling eight yards.

Travis Hooper led Mercer County’s ground game with 49 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.  JT Long completed 11 of 26 passes for 104 yards with one interception.  Tyler Devine caught five passes for 55 yards.  Matthew Sims led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with five of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 34 yards.  GW Anderson recorded six solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totalling six yards.
