Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Trae Stewart, 6-0 Sr. Kendrick Prewitt, 6-6 Sr. Daniel Kiesling, 6-0 Sr. Brandon Nichols, and 5-8 Jr. Wes Kimball.  Paul Dunbar coach Justin Yeary countered with 6-3 Sr. Lamont Johnson, 6-0 Jr. Zach Herrin, 6-3 Sr. Sean Lamanna, 5-11 Sr. Clay Coyle, and 6-0 Sr. Deangelo Boaz.

Henry Clay eked out a 49-47 victory over Paul Dunbar.  Henry Clay shot 41.9% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 20 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 40% from the field including four of 10 from beyond the arc.  The bulldogs connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.

Brandon Nichols and 6-5 Fr. Trey Grundy led Henry Clay with 10 points each.  Daniel Kiesling added nine points and 11 rebounds.  Wes Kimball chipped in with nine points.

6-0 Jr. William Gary led Dunbar with 21 points.  Clay Coyle added 11 points including two three point baskets.  Lamont Johnson recorded nine points and seven rebounds.
