Assumption coach Stephanie Greathouse started the following lineup:  5-9 Sr. Maggie Hartlage, 5-9 So. Katie Friedrich, 5-10 Jr. Morgan Foley, 5-6 Jr. Becca Durbin, and 5-6 So. Dee Dee Sliter.  Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans countered with 5-8 Sr. Emily Goetz, 5-7 So. Whitney Hartlage, 5-10 Jr. Christine Roush, 5-5 Sr. Lauren Faris, and 5-8 Sr. Juliann Miller.

Mercy raced out to a 43-20 lead at halftime on their way to a 69-52 victory over Assumption.  Mercy shot 37.9% from the field including eight of 22 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 22 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 34.7% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 14 of 30 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 20 Mercy turnovers.

Whitney Hartlage led Mercy with 20 points including four three point baskets and recorded four steals.  Juliann Miller and Christine Roush added 17 and 14 points respectively.  5-11 Jr. Courtney Roush recorded eight points and seven rebounds.

Maggie Hartlage and Becca Durbin led Assumption with 13 and 12 points respectively.  Morgan Foley added eight points and four rebounds.
