Paris coach Geoff Cody started the following lineup: Jr. Aaron Jacobs, Sr. Bentley Enlow, Sr. Davion Griggs, Sr. Jai Cloud, and Davi Stanley.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-1 Jr. Reid Freeman, 5-9 Sr. Griffin Miller, 6-3 Sr. Griffin Patterson, 5-11 Sr. Cabot Haggin, and 5-9 So. Mike Smith.

Sayre outscored Paris 18-6 in the third overtime to defeat Paris 93-81.  Sayre shot 48.9% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 27 of 41 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 28 Paris turnovers.  Paris shot 38.1% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Greyhounds connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 21 Sayre turnovers.

Mike Smith led Sayre with 46 points and six steals.  Smith was 16 of 30 from the field including one of six from beyond the arc and 13 of 17 from the free throw line.  6-6 So. Ray Brewer added 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Reid Freeman also reached double figures with 12 points.

Davion Griggs led Paris with 30 points including three three point baskets.  Aaron Jacobs added 20 points, 11 rebounds, six blocked shots, and six steals.  Davi Stanley scored 18 points and Cole Lee Rankin pulled down a game high 13 rebounds.
