Lexington Catholic coach mike Listerman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Alex Connelly, 6-2 Sr. Andrew Schult, 6-7 Sr. Jake Thelen, 5-7 Sr. Connor Maschinot, and 6-0 Sr. Brett Riedinger.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Taylor Martin, 6-4 Sr. Scott Schuette, 6-5 Jr. Crag Floyd, 5-10 Jr. Bryan Woomer, and 6-0 Sr. Seth Beckham.

Lexington Catholic defeated Covington Catholic by a score of 57-44.  Lexington Catholic shot 44% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Covington Catholic turnovers.  Covington Catholic shot 38.3% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on five of 12 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Taylor Martin led Lexington Catholic with 19 points and nine rebounds.  Seth Beckham and Scott Schuette added 14 and 12 points respectively.

Jake Thelen led Covington Catholic with 13 points and 14 rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Ryan Hayden added eight points.
