Paul Dunbar snapped a nine game losing streak with a 38-22 victory over Woodford County. Dunbar recorded 13 first downs and 323 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized six times for 58 yards and lost a fumble. Woodford County recorded 18 first downs and 317 yards of total offense. The Yellow Jackets were penalized twice for 15 yards, and had a pass intercepted.
Paul Jones led Dunbar’s ground game with 240 yards and a TD on 21 carries. Blake Martin completed five of 10 passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns. William Gary caught three passes for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Quick led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles. Jordan Gatewood added five solo and one assisted tackles.
Matt Couch led the Woodford County ground game with 60 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Ryan Garrahan completed 16 of 34 passes for 186 yards with one interception. Justin Brown caught four passes for 46 yards. Conrad Smart led the defense with seven solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 10 yards and added a fumble recovery. Elijah Jones added three solo and five assisted tackles.
