Louisville KY February 7th  -  CAL defeated a cold shooting (26.2% from the field including only 16.7% from the three point line) Lexington Catholic team by a score of 54-48.

CAL shot 45.5% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Centurions connected on 22 of 34 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 26.2% from the field including four of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 12 of 20 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 CAL turnovers.  Lexington Catholic attempted 28 more shots from the field (61-33) than CAL.

6-2 Jr. Antonita Slaughter led CAL with 13 points and 10 rebounds.  5-10 Sr. Clair Buchanan also recorded 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds.  5-10 Jr. Allison karst chipped in with 12 points including 10 of 12 from the free throw line.

5-9 Sr. Maggie Wilson led Lexington Catholic with 17 points and six rebounds.  5-8 Sr. Danielle Corbett added 13 points including three three point baskets. 5-9 Sr. Shaneque McGhee recorded six points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots
