Eastside Middle captured the championship with a 7-0 record over some excellent competition led by the tournament MVP Lindsey Duvall.  Their average victory margin was 23 ppg.  The semifinal games were both classics as Eastside Middle captured a 46-43 classic over Elkhorn Middle.  Lebanon captured the other semifinal holding off a frantic rally by Johnson Traditional Middle School to earn a 49-41 victory.  Eastside Middle took control early in the game to defeat Lebanon 58-36 to earn the championship.

The talent level was excellent in this tournament with several players impressing this weekend.  Some of the top players included Lindsey Duvall (Eastside Middle), Haeli Howard (Lebanon),  Rebecca Cook (Elkhorn Middle), 7th grader Blair Green (Middlesboro), etc.
