The Pride of Isom, Kentucky

This picture was taken when they were selected to represent the community in the festivities they have each
fall at the Isom Day Festival.....Almost every community here in the mountains has a festival once
a year....and Mom and Dad had such a good time.

We lost Dad in May of 1998 to a glioblastoma, which is a devastating type of brain tumor
but God blessed him to have 77 healthy years and we lost him 6 days after his 78th birthday

A Beautiful Golden Girl

This picture was taken of my Mom when she was in the "Golden Girl Pageant", she is such a
special lady.

This is my favorite picture of Mom and Dad, guess because they were coming to my house. These are what I call the" beautiful people",faithful to God, hardworking, decent, compassionate,loving people, who care more about the welfare of others than of themselves. When we lost Dad, we lost a great humanitarian and truly a "Southern Gentleman",but our loss is heavens gain and we WILL see him again. Jesus Christ gave us that assurance, if we have our sins under the blood.
