WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL FRIENDS

My Best Friend, My Husband Ronnie, this photo was taken in the great state of Arizona, we were "on the road" in a semi for a year and really enjoyed it, got to see many places I wouldn't have seen otherwise....I truly believe, he is the only person in the whole wide world I could live with confined as we were in that truck.

On The Way Home From Basket Class

Our 1st Basketweaving Class

This is a picture of Pam's and my first attempt to teach a basketweaving class. Everyone in the class were crafters so that made it very easy. From left to right is Sandy, Delma, Pam, Barbara and Becky. Our friend Sharon, had left for the day. This picture of their finished "Two-Pie Basket" represented probably 5 hours labor and a lot of good eating and socializing...

One of Pam's better sides...the top of her head ...:O)

Pam, hard at work, assisting Becky with her weaving....Becky used burgandy in her basket and it turned out beautifully, despite the fact she "totally ruined" her nails....The price you pay to make baskets.Should use an awl, but fingernails come in so handy...*Grin*...Becky got me started on this web page of mine and I think she has created a monster in me...Like I just keep going and going, like the Energizer Bunny!!! :O)

Sandy, hopefully enjoying the art of basketweaving....she made two...so I think she liked it...we sure enjoy her and her wonderful smile and sense of humor, you can visit her at Bell's Tower, she has been so much help to me with this "puter", taught me the basics for sure, then some..I picked her brain on a regular basis...LOL

What Concentration

Sharon working really hard to finish her basket...She had to leave early...

This is how we all feel when we finish a basket

Footprints In The Sand

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking
along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
one belonged to him and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked
back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path
of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed
that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand
why when I needed you the most you would leave me.

The LORD replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you
and I would never leave you. During your times of trial
and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
