There are plenty
of quizzes here to amuse, entertain, and enlighten. Most of them
are geared toward academic puzzles and are great for high school and college
students. Definitely try these out! |
|
|
Actually, this test
has little to do with anything "cyber". It's a test of knowledge
of manners for formal dinner engagements. I was glad I got as many
right as I did; I guess I'm okay for someone to dress up and take out in
public! Available courtesy of MSNBC. |
|
|
Do you help your
child when s/he is on the field or in a sport, or do you unknowingly hinder
their progress with well-meaning but subtle undermining words and actions?
Find out at this test instrument, available through MSNBC. |
|
|
Although the answer
seems obvious, this test purports to measure to what degree we adhere to
the stereotypes of "masculine" or "feminine." The results may surprise
you. |
|
|
A five-question
test to determine how flexible you are, physically. Acrobat or Brick?
You'll soon find out. BTW: I passed all five. Guess I'm
far more flexible than I thought! |

The Canadian Mental
Health Association (CHMA) has an index for measuring the degree of stress
one may be experiencing in one's life. Stress can be difficult to
understand. The emotional chaos it causes can make our daily lives
miserable. It can also decrease physical health, sometimes drastically.
Strangely, one may not always be aware that one is under stress.
The habits, attitudes, and signs that can indicate problems may be hard
to recognize because they have become so familiar. |

Interest quizzes
are designed to narrow down career choice decisions, predominantly
used by high-school and college-age students in deciding what they want
to do with their life. This is one of two different interest surveys
available at this update. (In case you're curious, the reason I have
so many available this time is that we have a Summer Youth program going
on in our training school right now and I've been busy finding career and
job placement sites for them to visit on the Internet.) |
|
|
This is the other
well-designed interest inventory for help in deciding what career path
to follow. This one is available through the popular College
Board website. This interactive survey allows you to narrow down
the field by how much you rank external factors as well, including job
growth potential, tolerance to level of noise, indoor vs. outdoor working
preferences, and such other factors. |
|
|
Along the lines
of the previous two tests, the College Personality Quiz is an 80-question
test instrument that helps determine what type of college settings you
would best perform in. Again, this is probably geared more toward
high-school juniors and seniors, but may be considered by anyone planning
to attend or return to college. |
|
|
A survey that measures
how well you respond to communication cues and helps to define your particular
communication processing style. Results are not instant, but will
be e-mailed to you. |
|
|
Here's a really
interesting test. What kind of father are you, or would you be if
you were a father? Are you more like Ward Cleaver (1950's) or Paul
Reiser (1990's)? Find out by taking the survey. |
|
|
I'm not sure about
this one. Some of the questions seem "iffy" at best, but it is an
intriguing concept. Results are hand-graded and returned via e-mail.
Since I just took the test, I haven't gotten the results yet. If
they can come up with an accurate analysis from the questions they asked,
I will be very interested in looking further into this instrument. |
|
|
A "just-for-fun"
test; you'll laugh out loud at some of the choices. Find out how
"goofy" you are in the greater scheme of things. |
|
|
And I thought I
had seen everything on the "Ant" test. Here's a personality test
that measures what kind of gorilla you would be, based on the personality
traits of several gorillas from the Atlanta zoo. Are you just a "monkey's
uncle", or the "gorilla my dreams?" |
|
|
It's always good
to find a test that was lost at one time. The Insight Personality
Test is back at a new location. If you've never taken it, or
you want to try it again, here it is! |
|
|
Here is another
college-prep survey to determine how ready a person (generally school-age)
is to "knuckling down" and preparing for a successful career. Overall
good test with interesting results. |
|
|
This is a new psychological
test that is currently under development. More people are needed
to take it to validate it and help develop it further. It looks to
be very good; similar to but with a different focus from the MBTI.
Make sure you qualify (read the first part!) before taking the test. |
|
|
Available in different
versions for both men and women; find out how you relate to and how much
your life was effected by that ever-important person: Mom. |
|
|
This one's not about
the Internet. A test for die-hard fans of networking; find out how
much you know about Ethernet, protocols, and T1 lines. Short; only
10 questions. |
|
|
Researchers are
finally discovering that success or failure in school may be highly dependent
on one's personal learning style, and whether the needs generated by that
style are being met. Determine your method of learning, and how you
can get it to work for you. |
|
|
You can find several
IQ tests at this site, as well as analogy tests, trivia, contests, and
games. |
|
|
This is an experimental
personality type test, in the sense that it's been designed to test a theory
to predict statistical difference between the sexes.
Based, yet again, on the MBTI archetypes. |
|

Find out how much
you know about the "Master of Horror Fiction's" works. Must
have Javascript enabled to work. |
|
|
Have you ever had
trouble sleeping at night? It's estimated that most Americans do
not get anywhere near the 8 hours a night of sleep that experts recommend.
Millions of us are kept awake by a wide variety of sleep disorders and
syndromes. The following quiz will help you assess whether you have
a clinically diagnosable problem getting the sleep you need. |

Find out how tainted
you are. :) |
