Lasara and Floraval
You enter a thickly scented swamp, unaware ofthe many insects buzzing around the frgrant flowers, vines, and various other nectar laden foliage around you. There are churps and trills, birds in the canopy of the trees all around you, all above you. They ocasionally drop the pit or seeds from fruit on you, as they feast on it above you. So, ducking and running you seek refuge from the bombs of fruit bits. You find it at a water fall, a very enchanting one at that. The water sparkles and the mist cools you down, relieves your stress. The pond that it flows into, is topped with water lilies, water letuce, and various other water plants. You feel a weight on your shoulders and you turn your head to see, there, in front of yours eyes, materializes a pink minidragon. She seems to appear like the mist all around you, she smiles and flaps her wings.
greetings and welcome, my name is Lasara...sorry if i scared you, but i saw you trying to get away from the birds, don't mind them, Flora makes the sweetest fruit grow from these trees! no creature could resist, she pauses, and blushes a darker shade of pink, not even me! speaking of flora..where could she be? The pink looks around, shifting her light weight on your shoulder. hullo! hullo! A teal mini calls, and comes charging into the area. She grins and regards you and Lasara. Landing on your other shoulder, she greets you.
ah ha! i see the birds chased another away, she chuckles, well, it's not my fault they like my fruit so much, or that abyone likes it for that matter. do you like it? You admit you've not tried it, she snorts and flaps off, returning quickly with a reddish fruit. Dropping it in your hands, you feel how heavy it is. You can actually hear the juices flowing inside. Not waiting any longer, you take a bite...but quickly spit it out. Spitting as you do so, trying to get the taste out of your mouth. It is much too sweet, almost bitter! Flora looks at you, puzzled. you stutter something about a tooth ache you've had earlier, and the sweetness upsets it. But, the teal, insisting you eat it, makes you finish it off, watching you to make sure you swallow. You feel sick to your stomach, but you smile and pretend it was delicious. see?! very good isn't it? Quickly you tell her you have to go, and you depart hastily, ignoring the birds dropping sticky, sweet seeds on you. You do not want to taste that fruit again! |
