Set in pre-Revolutionary War America, readers finally have the much awaited fourth book in The Outlander series. Diana Gabaldon continues Claire and Jamie's romantic love affair, and introduces Brianna and Roger's story. I really enjoyed Brianna's and Roger's story better than Jamie and Claire. No one I know
agrees with me but that's the way I feel.
Six tapes, and several wonderful new characters later, we wonder why we were waiting for a conclusion. It'll be a long wait for book five, so it would be a good idea to go back and reread Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, and Voyager while you're waiting.
If you are intimated by reading 700 or so pages, listening to the audio version is a great way to be able to enjoy these books.
