... is one the smallest of the Blowing breeds. It is easy to keep, rears its own young with few problems. It has a very attractive temperament, its characteristic hop, skip, bustle and drive being its special features. Unlike the larger blowing breeds gorging or sour crop is a very rare occurrence. Its modern standard of excellence has no points system or any particular feature other than an order of evaluation. First impression being number one, ‘that which takes eye’, the whole thing rather than one particular feature being of prime importance. The Brunner has a wide range of standard colours and patterns i.e Selfs in White, Black, Red, and Yellow. Bars in Blue, Silver, Red (mealy), Yellow (cream). White Bars in Black, Blue, Silver, Red, Yellow, Isabel. Stork in Black, Red and Yellow. Standard Pied in Red, Yellow, Blue and Silver. Tigers in Black, Red and Yellow.
