Our Jamie
On April 4th of '83
Jamie Lynn Campbell was born.
On May 10th of '89
from our lives Jamie Lynn was torn.
For six short years Jamie shared our lives
and graced us with her smile.
Ane we thank you Lord for sharing with us
her love for just awhile.
Now let me tell you about our Jamie
how she loved to laugh and play!
She loved to dance and draw and sing
and she talked of Jesus every day.
Her favorite song was " Wear A Crown"
that she learned when she was small.
But Jamie knew a lot of songs,
and loved to sing them all!
Jamie loved her family, too
She loved them with all her heart.
and oh, how saddened we all were
When we were forced from her to part.
For now our Jamie lives with Jesus
and she's waiting for us to join her.
I'm sure she's waiting anxiously
so let's not disappoint her.
Our Jamie is waiting for her Mom and Dad
for "AJ" and Megan too.
For Granny and Poppy and all her cousins
an aunts and uncles to name a few.
She's waiting for Dougie to join her there
where the skies never grow hazy.
And she's waiting for all her little friends
who call her their "Special Daisy".
There's much to tell about our Jamie
of her beauty and talent and love.
And yes we miss her
though we know
she's with our Jesus in Heaven above.
