I was born in 1957. You do the MATH. I graduated from Morehead State University earning an undergraduate and graduate degree in education. I taught for fifteen years and began my sixteenth year until the stress of it all sent me home to become a full-time homemaker. I am happily married to a wonderful man. I recently had open heart surgery that literally saved my life. The surgeons at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky replaced the aortic, mitral, and the pulmonary valves of my heart with two St. Jude's mechanical valves and one porcine(Pig)valve. The surgeons also removed a thickening in the wall of my heart. I have travelled in thirty-four states on the Honda Goldwing motorcycle that my husband and I owned; however, we sold it in 1994 due to my being unable to tolerate the riding. We now enjoy houseboating and spend every possible moment at the lake. I praise the Lord Almighty for giving my life back to me and for being my Savior in Christ Jesus. Without His Love and guiding Hand, I would not be the person I am. I hope that through this webpage, the Lord may give someone hope. For without His Abiding Presence, my life would indeed be empty.
