On this site we will explore my general theological theory. Now, like with all religions, one
should not believe or disbelieve this entirely. Please don't send death threats unless you really
mean it. With that said, let the blasphemy begin: My general religious (or non-religious) belief is that religion was created by non other than humans themselves. Religion was created to control those people in the community who have act only for their own pleasure (evil people if you will). Someone, or a group of someones, probably got together and decided that they needed to stop the actions of these people. This is why they created a divine being which is so powerful, that it could punish anyone for their bad deeds (punishment usually came in the form of an afterlife, or reincarnation). Also, for those who were really stupid, they defined the things you could and could not do (i.e. the Ten Commandments). The really advanced heretics, realizing that their sinners wouldn't listen, created a large sort of document, to provide "proof" of the exsistance of their punisher (i.e. the Bible). And that, in my silly theory, is the basis of religion. However, I do believe that faith is a very powerful thing, and I consider those who have it rather fortunate. It's difficult for me to accept things I can't prove, so I'll have to just carry on with my semi-nihilistic exsistance. A word of caution: Not everything on this page is to be taken seriously. Don't hate me because I'm wrong.
