To be a true breed as well as to establish a solid foundation for future generations, the Spanish Barb War Horse must display 100% of the breed charasteristics which distinguish it from all other breeds. However, during the process of attaining this goal, quality horses are produced that lack some of these characteristics. These horses are classified as partbloods (from 5/8ths to 7/8ths) but their wonderful attributes and abilities from their Spanish blood are evident and they deserve to be enjoyed by people who appreciate a good horse and a smooth ride. These horses are offered here for sale at reasonable prices. Spanish Barb blooded horses age very slowly, remaining serviceable, young acting, and young looking well into their late 20's.
