ROCKY V
The Rocky saga had gone on for twenty years. With the collapse of the Soviet Union it became necessary to make a fifth (and final?) movie. There was an attempt to bring some closure to the saga in the fourth movie after apollo was killed but it just didn't take. Rocky had yet another battle to face.
The villan in this movie was a man by the name of George Washington Duke. Duke represented all that is bad in the world of boxing today. Duke was a coniving money hungry man who didn't care who he stepped on. Duke ended us stealing Rocky's young protoge` Tommy Gunn away. The movie came to a climax when Duke convinced Tommy that he had to fight Rocky in order to not be considered a bum. Duke was seeing dollar signs.
The movie ended with the fight scene that was supposed to call for Rocky's death. Fortunately Sylvester Stalone changed the ending giving the Rocky saga it's final chapter...for now.
