.:Broken At The Beach:.
After we finished celebrating we decided to go over to the Hanson
household and congradulate Diana for the coming of Hanson #8. She thanked us for
coming over and told us she appreciated it a lot. After we stopped by Hanson's house we
made our way to the beach. Ike drove, Tay sat in the passanger seat, and Nikki, Zac and I
all piled into the back. It was about a 30 minute drive. When we finally got there we all
hopped out and went swimming. We all had a really great time. Zac and I spent most of
our time alone talking. Ike, Tay, and Nikki mostly swam. While Zac and I talked we
covered a lot of different subjects. Then it got quiet and I started to build a sand castle.
Zac helped me build it. It didn't look to good, so after we built it we destroyed it. I had a
great time! Zac leaned over and started to kiss me then I said, "Are you thirsty?" "Um.. ya I guess." He replied disappointed. "Come with me to go get some juice or something." I said as I go up
from the sand. "OK." Zac said. I reached my hand out for him to help him up. He
grabbed it and held it. I didn't feel comfortable holding his hand so I told him so. He didn't
seem to understand. He let go of my hand reluctantly. We found a little Hawiian booth not
to far form the beach. Zac and I both got a cold apple juice and then we started walking
around. We didn't know exactly where we were going. We ended up at the car. I could tell
Zac had a lot on his mind then he broke the silence by saying, "Do you love me?" "Zac, you know I do!" "Well, I was just wondering because-" "I didn't want to kiss you or hold your hand?" I asked as I cut him off. He
look down with a frown across his face, "Zac, I like you a lot, but I have never had a
boyfriend before and I do't know exactly what to do or say. I just don't fell comfortable or
anything." "I sorta know how you feel, but i just.... I don't know. It's weird I want to
spend all of my time with you. I want to do everything with you." He said as he reached
for my hand, but then stopped and remembered what I told him. Then, I reached for his
hand. He looked up at me and smiled. We said nothing more. We knew what each other
were thinking, so we hopped out of the car and made our way back to the beach to find
Nikki and Tay locking lips! "Woah!" Zac replied, as we stared at the couple. "And you thought we were moving fast!" I said as I looked at Zac. Zac
quickly ran over to where Nikki and Tay were. Zac grabbed Tay's pony tail and yanked
him away from Nikki. "What are you doing?!?" Zac screamed. "What does it look like I'm doing?" Tay yelled back. "Yeah Tay! And you were talking about Kelli and me, and then here you
go off and get a girlfriend! You were just jealious of me and Kelli and had to get a
girlfriend and try to show us up!" Zac squealed. "OK guys! Does it actually matter?!?! Tay and Nikki are going out and
Zac and I are going out! We are not jealious of anyone and no one is jealious of us. We're
supposed to be happy, but how can we when jealiously over comes you?!?! You should be
ashamed of yourself! Zac, you should be happy that Tay has a girlfriend." I screamed. Zac
looked at me then at Nikki and Tay and said, "I'm happy for you Tay." He gave both of them a grim look then grabbed
my hand and we ran to the car, and sat there in complete silence until Zac said, "He always
has to mess up everything!" "Zac, what has he messed up?" Zac's chocolate brown eyes fell even with
mine. Then he said with tears in his eyes, "GOODBYE." I was totally clueless until it hit me. Zac had slipped
through my hands. It started to rain. Everyone got in the car except me. I stood there in
the rain as tears fell from my eyes. I took off the ring that Zac had given me and dropped
it in the muddy sand and slowly got in the car.
