There are millions of people who are one check away from poverty. They are in debt so far that they can't escape an eventual bankruptcy. They are charging the things that are necessary to live.
There are some who become alcholics because of their impending poverty. Some of those people were high powered executives. Should we continue to restructure and downsize companies without trying to recreate jobs? Should we try to make some jobs more profitable and valuable?
