High School Band Memories

You are listening to "Good Riddance (The Time of Your Life)" by Green Day

This is a page that will show and tell some of the most memorable moments from my high school band days, not just performances, but mainly just some pictures form trips and stuff. Band was a big part of my life, and I have made many friends and memories during my time in the band. I am now in the band at Eastern Kentucky University which I'm sure most of you know by now, if you have read my ME PAGE.

Two of my friends, Rosa and Shasta, during Pep Band Season, at a basketball game. Rosa is of course the one on the left acting goofy, and Shasta is on the right.

Rosa directing the Pike County All County Band through the 1995-96 Inaugural Parade.

Eric sleeping on the bus on a band trip to an amusement park (Kentucky Kingdom).

Billie, Eric, and I rode this ride I don't know how many times in one day.

*LOL* Airen and I rode the rollercoaster in the background and after the ride we realized that Airen's bag was missing....the bag with all of our valuables in it. We found it under the rollercoaster, and the people running the ride had to shut the rollercoaster down for a while to get her bag. Definitely an experience.

Getting ready in the orchestra pit for graduation.

I couldn't do a band page without having this guy on it. His name is CT Branham. CT graduated in my class, and is a good friend. This picture of him, is him in a high school talent show doing his almighty "ELVIS" impersonation.

Kentucky All State Concert Band 1997.....my first year in all state.

Wes asleep on the way to all state....one REALLY long bus ride because of a huge snow storm.

GOOD RIDDANCE (THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE)Class of 1998 class song

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road

Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go

So make the best of this test and don't ask why

It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right

I hope you had the time of your life

So take the photographs and still frames in your mind

Hand it on a shelf of good health and good time

Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial

For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right

I hope you had the time of your life.
