Photo Perfume is a self-managed independent band who write their own songs, create their own artwork/posters/videos and is currently at work on their debut CD. The band has an independent cassette out (mixed a Heat of Sound Mixing Studios by Dave Bignall of Ottawa's Hammerheads)and a self produced CD demo. The bands' aim is to examine the paradox of living with a rationalized world that fails to internalize the importance of having a global worldview. Or just tour like crazy and get drunk and write a lot of music . The bands' sound has been described as a marriage between razor crunch guitars and ghetto drums, interspersed with textures of Street-Trash vocal stylings fronting haunting background harmonies.
