Other Groups Like KNOW

"NJOWL is a non-profit organization open to anyone over 18 years of age who is interested in the pursuit of outdoor recreation related to wildlife.  Our purpose is to encourage, enhance, and unite people of all abilities in outdoor activities through hands-on education and participation.   We work hand-in-hand with the "Becoming an Outdoors-Woman" program, supporting and enhancing the program by providing learning opportunities, outings, networking, and information, and by promoting stewardship for New Jersey's natural resources."

Becoming an Outdoors Woman "The Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program invites women 18 or older to learn and enhance outdoor skills through the guidance of enthusiastic instructors.  Forty-three states and nine provincial natural resource agencies are creating more than eighty BOW workshops per year.  The workshops offer courses in a variety of activities."

Washington Outdoor Women "Washington Outdoor Women is a nonprofit organization that introduces women to outdoor skills through hands on workshops. WOW addresses an important need in Washington to provide women, who represent more than half the population, a forum to understand and connect with the outdoors."
