Elena finished her studies at the National Conservetoire in St. Petersburg. In 1984 she acquired the position of chorus director in the school of music of her hometown, Jekaterinenburg. She has sung in the renowned St. Petersberg choir and has also sung solo renditions of Mozart, Handel, and Schostakovitsch. Aditionally, her repertoire includes works from Tschaikovsky, Puccini, Verdi, and other operas from the 19th and 20th centuries.
