Barbara Lang

Barbara Lang is no stranger to the Los Angeles Music Center having appeared as Abigail Adams in 1776 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Astrid in A Doll's Life at the Ahmanson, and Salome in The Robber Bridegroom at the Mark Taper Form for which she received the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and a New York Drama Desk nomination. Some of her Broadway credits include The Robber Bridegroom (Salome); Mame, the revival starring Angela Lansbury (Sally Ato); So Long 174th Street (Angela); A Doll's Life (Astrid); Apple Tree; Promises; Anyone Can Whistle and A Little Night Music, directed by Hal Prince. Ms. Lang's TV appearances have ranged from selling soap to soap opera and she has most recently been seen as Lucy, the uptight mother in the movie Weird Science.
