Margaret Bankier

Margaret was born in Scotland and trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Glasgow. A time of intensive work with prominent British opera organizers followed. She sang the role of Fiordiligi in "Cose Fan Tutte", Rosina in "The Barber of Seville", the Cherubino in "The Marriage of Figaro." Beyond that she has also appeared in performances of "Carmina Burana" and the "Requiem" by Verdi. In London's West End she played Margaret in "Chess", and was also in "Bernatdette". In Hamburg she has played Madame Firmin and other roles in "Das Fantome Der Oper".
